By subscribing you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains what we do with your details.
What Decode is
Decode is a curated newsletter about AI for people who work in pharma, biotech and medtech. You choose weekly or monthly. It is free.
We build Decode from other newsletters and public reporting. AI tools help us read, sort and draft it. A person checks and approves every item before it is sent, and we link to the original sources.
We may change what Decode covers, how often it is sent or how it looks. We may also stop it. If we stop it, we will tell you.
Who can subscribe
You must be 18 or over. Each subscription is for one person.
Not advice
Decode is for information only. It is not medical, legal, regulatory, financial or investment advice. Nothing in it recommends any medicine, product or service, and nothing in it is an endorsement by us or by the companies mentioned.
Check the original source before you rely on anything, and take proper advice before you act on it.
Accuracy
We check every item against its source, but we cannot promise that Decode or the sources it draws on are complete, accurate or up to date. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will correct it in the next issue where it matters.
Using Decode
You can read Decode and use it in your own work. You can share individual items with colleagues, as long as you credit Decode.
You must not:
republish or sell whole issues, or large parts of them
present Decode's content as your own
use Decode's content to train or build AI models or datasets
try to interfere with how Decode is made or sent
Who owns what
The words we write for Decode belong to us. The material we summarise and link to belongs to its owners. Company and product names belong to their owners, and mentioning them does not mean they endorse Decode.
If you own material we have summarised and object to how we used it, email us. We will look at it promptly and correct or remove it where that is right.
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
Links to other sites
Decode links to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
Our responsibility
Decode is free and provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using Decode or relying on it, including loss of profit, business or data. If we are liable to you despite this, our total liability is limited to £100.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending your subscription
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every issue. We may end a subscription that breaks these terms or that we believe is fake or automated.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the law requires it sooner. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
General
If a court finds part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Decode. We may transfer them to another organisation, for example if Decode is sold, without reducing your rights. No one else has rights under these terms.
